MESSAGE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE

The sustainable and effective development of Africa depends on deep transformation of its productive sectors, particularly Agriculture, Livestock, and Agro-industry. These areas are essential pillars for food sovereignty, job creation, and inclusive growth across our continent.

To meet this challenge, it is necessary to accelerate both national and foreign investment while strengthening the competitiveness of African economies in the context of globalization. This involves boosting trade, fostering innovation, and building bridges between stakeholders across various value chains.

It is within this dynamic that we are organizing the Business and Investment Meeting (BIM) 2026, in Ivory Coast. This event aims to serve as a strategic platform for meetings and exchanges among key players in agricultural, livestock, and agro-industry, development.

BIM 2026 will bring together Private and public decision makers, development partner, investors researchers, producers and their cooperatives, distributors, traders, and agro-processors, with the goal of creating sub-regional and international synergies. Together, they will explore business opportunities, forge strong partnerships, and contribute to the establishment of a truly integrated ecosystem focused on added value and the continent’s competitiveness.

A travers le BIM 2026, we aim to make Ivory Coast a hub where Africa and the rest of the world come together to build a prosperous future based on cooperation, innovation, and sustainability.

Thank you very much!
