The CDT Ivory Coast (Technology Demonstration and Promotion Center) is a state institution aimed at supporting local industrial development, particularly in agro-processing, through technology transfer. It serves as a platform for exchange between technology users and developers, offering training in entrepreneurship and business management, showcasing and demonstrating machinery, as well as providing advisory services for SMEs, youth, and women entrepreneurs.
Main Missions and Activities
Technology Transfer:
The CDT connects technologies and equipment (mainly Indian in its early stages) with Ivorian entrepreneurs, focusing on affordable machines suitable for small businesses.
Promotion of Agro-Processing:
The CDT specializes in agro-processing and the transformation of agricultural and forest products, emphasizing local know-how and helping to identify markets for the products.
Training and Support:
It offers intensive training programs in entrepreneurship and project management — from planning to implementation — as well as consulting services for supplier identification, offer evaluation, and machinery installation.
Entrepreneurship Support:
The Centre targets women, youth, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs/SMIs), helping them create and manage businesses to achieve self-employment.
Innovation Platform:
The CDT is recognized as a key player in the development of small-scale agro-industries in Côte d’Ivoire, promoting innovation and the transfer of skills.
